Today Matt and I celebrated 4 years of marriage!! It's hard to comprehend that so much time has passed (and so many changes in our lives have commenced), but all in all, we both agree that these 4 years have been an unbelievable start to a lifelong journey!
We didn't ring in the day with as much style as we did on our wedding day (with St. Anthony's chapel and the infamous Oakmont ballroom in our midst), but it still was a nice celebration. We left the kids with Nanny and Bup-Bup and went to the movies and dinner. Granted, the movie was pretty pathetic (yes folks, we did in fact go to see New Moon) and the dinner was just slightly above vomit-worthy (Fox and the Hound was the only place opened)! Yet, we had a blast! After all, what better reason to get out for some beers and electronic video bar games than a "4 year-1move-2kidslater" anniversary? It was perfect.
I love you Matt - you make my life worth living! Thanks for being the man that you are ...
