O CHRISTMAS TREE!

We got our Christmas Tree today at Sullivan's. We started purchasing our tree at this location last year and will probably keep it as a nice little Lee family tradition. The trees are nice and not incredibly over-priced; however, the reason we'll keep going back is because they have a GREAT train set-up for the boys.


Matthew is completely mesmorized by it and I have to admit ... so am I! It's pretty cool and as you all know, Matthew is CRAZY for trains! We'll have to figure out a plan of attack though for next year because for 2 years running, we've made the mistake of walking directly past the trains to get to the tree section. As with every new venture, Matt and I didn't realize that doing this not only teases Matthew, but leaves him with only one thing on his mind ... GET ME BACK TO THE TRAINS MOMMY! GO BACK RIGHT NOW DADDY! Basically it's a fight the entire time we're picking out a tree, so we end up giving in and I take little dude back inside while poor Matt makes the final decision on the tree in the freezing cold :)

We went to Steak N Shake afterwards for some yummy burgers and shakes! Matthew LOVED his special chocolate shake after dinner :) Though Declan is still pretty little, he had a good time too! I can't wait for the two of them to share exciting holiday memories together! Our Christmases are only going to get better!
