MONDAY BLUES

Well, I went to the doctors today with high hopes, but left with the Monday blues :( There has been no progress w/ the baby in regards to labor ... I'm still 3 cm. dialated. Of course, the possibility of going into full on labor any time is quite large, but seeing as though I've had no signs of labor, I'm guessing it's still a ways away!!



An interesting (and perhaps encouraging) factor is that, like this pregnancy, Matthew was also due on a Friday. I went into labor the Monday evening prior to my due date and delivered 2 days later. Therefore, if nature decides to keep me on the same schedule, I should be going into labor at exactly 9:06 p.m. this evening. Keep an eye out, I just may post an update at that exact time to let you know whether or not Mother Nature decides to torture me by keeping me SUPER pregnant!

Matthew and I went shopping for a "Big Brother" t-shirt, but wouldn't you believe it ... stores in Indianapolis must be adamently against selling them. I swear I've hit a half a dozen stores to no avail! I'm now contemplating making it myself. Afterall, it would probably be cooler and more unique (rather than the generic "I'm a Big Brother" logo). I'm thinking something along the lines of "I'm the Big Brother" and then in smaller print below "But still the Little Dude". I'll have to consult w/ Matt because he always comes up with the best lines.

I showed Matthew the blog today and he was so excited to see all the pictures in our slideshow. With every picture that popped up he giggled :) I tried to get him to understand the baby's sonogram picture, but needless to say, he was not very interested. I suppose that could be a bit of foreshadowing ... let's hope that's not the case!
