FINAL WEEK

This is officially my LAST week of pregnancy!! Holy cow, I never thought I'd get this far in my pregnancy ... seeing as though I'm as large as a boat! However, here I am. 39 weeks pregnant, uncomfortable, tired, unable to breath through my nose and completely ecstatic for our newest arrival!!

We took a tour of the hospital last week and let me tell you, it was like walking through a 4 star hotel! The facility is just fabulous! So much so, that I'm afraid I may not want to leave :) For those of you able to visit us when the time arrives, be prepared for luxury! There's even a Starbucks downstairs! I know ... almost too good to be true. Needless to say, Matt will have his day in the sun - what, with his own private room (chock full of goodies like a personal, flat screen TV, DVD player, refrigerator, and of course the beloved pull-out couch). I wouldn't be surprised if a twelve-pack of High Life (the ultimate champagne of beers) is the only item gracing the frig. during those 2 days.

As for big brother ... Matthew is doing so well! He's talking up a storm (as usual) and coining phrases that make Matt and I laugh all the time! He loves to now say things like, "Oh, thank you soooo much mommy!" or "This pudding is soooo good!" Everything is SOOOOOO in his world right now, which makes me smile. He also LOVES to call mommy a sheep (compliments of his Daddy's tutoring and encouragement); though Matt has to listen as he says "Daddy's really weird", so I don't mind being called a farm animal as much.



Matt says that I'm babying little dude too much right now, but I can't help it!! I'm going through a bit of guilt thing right now. Its just so hard not to think about how he'll deal w/ the newest addition. I know deep down he's going to be great, but its still so hard!

We're looking so forward for the baby's arrival as well as the celebration with our family and friends. We'll keep you all posted! Keep your eyes out for more posts soon after the delivery!
