Today will bring a tad sense of relief in this prolonged pregnancy of mine. I go into the doctors for a nonstress test and ultrasound to make sure the baby is still doing okay. If all is well, I'll get to schedule my induction date!!
With all hopes my doctor will be compassionate enough to allow the induction sometime this week. If there is any distress detected with the baby there is a slight chance they'll send me over to the hospital right away to be induced. Although we're all anxious to have this baby, I pray that being sent to the hospital does not happen today. The last thing any of us need is a pandemonium of panic! I'd rather fully prepare for this delivery and CALMLY stroll through the hospital doors to labor and delivery.
My parents arrived this past Friday to be here for the birth. I'm so happy they're here! They are bringing Matt and I a strong sense of relief and comfort. Not to mention that Matthew is excited his Nanny and Bup Bup are here!! He's ecstatic!
I'll post another update today once my appointment is over. Keep your fingers crossed for us!!
