As of this past Sunday, Matt and I were officially on our own for the first time with our two fantastic boys. I'm not going ot lie ... it's pretty difficult to transition into a daily routine!
For the past several days Matthew, Declan and I aren't out of our pj's until close to 10a.m. It's a bit embarrassing admitting to this fact, but with the sleepless nights and early mornings, it's the best I am able to do :) My goal each week however is to get our mornings under control and onto a better schedule. I guess we'll see.
I've managed to go on my first outing (ALONE) with the two boys this week. Matthew and I adore the park, so the past two days we've managed to get there! It takes a whole bunch of planning and preparation, but it's worth it in the end!
Another great addition to this week are my trips to the gym. I've been dying to get back into shape for the past 5 months, so I'm getting my feet wet again with the machines (running is a bit ambitious right now, so I'm holding off until my legs are better equipped for the stress). I'm hoping to continue my running stint with another half marathon this upcoming November, so getting back to the gym has been AWESOME!
The boys are getting their first professional pictures taken tomorrow! I'll keep everyone posted on how they go. I'm looking forward to filling up more picture frames with my two sweethearts!

It sounds like you've got it all under control! Super Mom!! I can't wait to see the pictures of those little cutie pies. I just sent Logi a training schedule for that November half...this should be fun!!!! xoxoxoxoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks Deirge!! If you still have the training schedule for Logan, could you send to me too?? I think I may return to a "beginners" schedule since I've not run in 6 months! Does this mean the two of you are going to run it with me in November???
